What is Solomons Studio?

We are a natural light photography/videography and small event studio rental! We offer by the hour packages for your next photoshoot or hosted gathering. We are by reservation only and do not accept walk ins. If you are a creative, we would love to have you and can't wait to feature your work! Where are you located?

We are right in the heart of Arlington, Texas off of interstate 30 and Lamar blvd. Minutes away from the Dallas Cowboys and Rangers stadiums. University at Texas Arlington is also right up the road. Our address is 430 E Lamar Blvd Suite 100, Arlington Texas, 76011.

What is your cancelation policy?

You can change or cancel your Studio reservation with no additional charge at any time up 2 hours before your reservation is set to begin by contacting info@thesolomonsstudio.com or cancelling from your original confirmation email. Upon cancellation, you will receive a credit for the booking made that can be applied towards a future rental with us. If multiple hours are booked you will not be able divide them up separately. Your credit will expire 1 year from the date of the original reservation. Cancellations and rescheduling requests received within 2 hours of the start time of your reservation will not be given a credit. No refund will be given at anytime.

Changes to reservations can be made from the initial confirmation email. Scroll to the bottom of the confirmation email and click the change/cancel appointment button to make the appropriate adjustments.

When can I show up? When can I leave?

Please ensure that you include all setup and clean up time within the amount of time booked. Guests hosting events won’t have the ability to come any earlier than 5 minutes before their reservation start and must be out and cleaned up by the ending time. No props/decor/or other items may be dropped off before your rental time.

Can I host an event at Solomons Studio?

We are here to make your next small gathering easy and eye catching! We are the perfect space for showers and small intimate celebrations. All events require a $500 fee added to your hourly reservation. You will have access to all the furniture/props in the studio to use for your event. We can move furniture out of the studio to allow for more space. We cannot move big items (including any backdrops that are in the studio as well as our rolling backdrop or large table). If you want furniture removed, this request has to be within 2 weeks of your reservation to guarantee we have our team in place for furniture removal. That fee also covers the additional time it takes to reset the space and clean after your event. Here at the studio we currently have 4 cocktail tables with 8 barstools and two foldable tables available for all events, you may request to add these items to your event at no additional charge. At this time we do not provide large tables or chairs but you are more than welcome to bring your own. We have a wonderful list of recommended vendors for your convenience. IF seasonal props are in the studio, we may not be able to remove these. If needed them moved additional fees may apply.

Can we bring food or drinks?

Of course! We ask that you follow TABC guidelines when it comes to alcohol, and absolutely no selling of alcohol may take place in the studio. Please keep all food and drinks inside the suite. At this time, we do not offer a fridge for storage.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets! We just ask that all pets be held or on a leash with the owner or a handler at all times. Pets are allowed on studio furniture but ask for the owner or handler to bring the necessary items to clean up accidents or hair their pet may leave behind.

Where can we park?

Parking is free and easy at the Studio Property!

How is lighting at Solomons Studio?

We are a natural light studio. If you plan on booking earlier or later in the day, please be mindful of sunrise or sunset on the day of your reservation and plan accordingly. We do not provide additional lighting equipment beyond the overhead lighting but you are more than welcome to bring your own!
